Tancream were absolutely delighted to be awarded Business of the Year by the English Women’s Award 2018. This inaugural awards ceremony for the North of England was held in Manchester on Monday 19th March. The same date the two founders Gillian Robson and Katy Foxcroft were travelling back from an exhibition in Italy. They sent Olivia Scott from Storyteller Marketing who does such a fantastic job on their social media posts to the awards evening not expecting to come away with an award! Katy told Olivia, don’t worry you won’t need to make a speech! How wrong she was. What a great accolade and gives Tancream a fabulous reward for all the hard work for the past few years! Hooray!

Good luck to the England Women’s Beach Volleyball Team! Off to fly the flag for England, Jess and Vicky have landed in Australia, heading for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games! Go Girls!

Tancream exhibited at Cosmoprof Bologna 2018 in the ExtraOrdinary Gallery with much attention and often a queue to speak to the two entrepreneurial founders who were manning the busy booth for 4 days! Many distributors and potential stockists from all over the world were delighted to find an innovative unique product which they were able to learn about for the first time. A huge success, thank you Cosmoprof… see you next year!

Giddy with excitement to be shortlisted for an award for BEST INNOVATION at the Beauty Awards with OK!. The star studded event was hosted by Amanda Holden and we had the pleasure to meet lots of celebs and many friends from the beauty industry. The amazing venue was the Pavilion at the Tower of London and we danced til dawn! Happy for the many winning brands on the night but sadly it wasn’t our night! Fab to be shortlisted though and a great night was had by all!

Well this is embarrassing… a nomination for Best Starter Business for Tancream with the Yorkshire Choice Awards. We are absolutely thrilled and also a nomination for Gillian and Katy for Businesswomen of the Year… very lovely thank you! Looking forward to the awards and meeting all the other nominees – some very deserving people for some amazing achievements.

Gillian and Katy filmed a Facebook Live post for Minster FM followers & listeners. Explaining about the product and the benefits from using SPF all year round and talking about the story behind the product and the risks of skin cancer. The post had over 1000 views and Tancream fans were given the opportunity to bag themselves a Black (or Tan) Friday deal!

The winners of the Pure Beauty Awards 2017 were announced at a glowing neon-glam themed ceremony hosted by radio DJ, author and presenter Gemma Cairney at The Savoy London on Thursday 26th October.
Yorkshire Mum’s & Entrepreneurs Gillian Robson & Katy Foxcroft scooped the Silver award for the Best New Suncare/Tanning Brand 2017 with Tancream which they launched in May this year following Gillian’s skin cancer diagnosis 5 years ago. Gillian was looking for a product that had the best sun protection but would also give her a safe Tan, only to find that there was nothing on the market that had everything in one bottle so she teamed up with her friend Katy and Sun cream industry experts and developed Tancream the World’s first ever SPF50, 5Star UVA sun protection with an instant bronzer and gradual self tan – all in one bottle.
The awards were a complete sell-out with over 350 industry guests from premium, mass and niche beauty brands and the UK’s leading UK beauty buyers, including Amazon, Boots, Harrods, QVC, The Perfume Shop and The Fragrance Shop.
A host of celebrities joined in with the night’s proceedings, The Saturdays’ Rochelle Humes and Samantha Faiers and Billie Faiers.
